Need advise on Dentist

I have had awful experiences with Dentists here in TV and Lady Lake, does anyone have a recomendation for outside of here, maybe Fruitland Park. They have ripped me and my insurance off way to often here. :ohdear:

By all means check out Dr. Jerkins in Fruitland Park. Old style type who does not try to fix what is not broken!:bigbow:

We use Bushnell Family Dentistry in Bushnell, a pleasant 25 min drive south of The Villages on 301. My wife is a retired hygienist and they have her stamp of approval.

We go to Dr. Timothy Pruett in Traveras. Technically strong, great pain management, strong staff.

We use Bushnell Family Dentistry in Bushnell, a pleasant 25 min drive south of The Villages on 301. My wife is a retired hygienist and and they have her stamp of approval.
I love Bushnell Family Dentistry, as I have said in another thread that Gracie provided a link to. In particular, I like Dr. Novak. The hygienists and techs are great too. Painless tooth cleaning as well.

I like Dr. Heydari of Aesthetic Dental on 466A, across from Colony Plaza. (352) 633-2467 He doesn't push anything on you that you don't want but will tell you if he foresees a problem. He has replaced 2 crowns of mine in the past two years and does a great job compared to any dentist I have gone to in the past. His fit is perfect. He's a matter of fact, to the point kind of guy. I am totally happy with his knowledge and professionalism. Good luck!

I too have been to Dr. Heydari and found him to be all that and a bag of chips. He explains every procedure and tells you all the pros and cons. His prices are fair and he doesn't encourage any extra spending. I recommend him highly.

what exactly is painless tooth cleaning. what do they do that others do not due to prevent pain during cleaning?

People in a prior thread were complaining that the dental techs were ruthless in their tooth cleaning, causing a lot of pain. I have not found that to be the case at Bushnell.
