I know there are a few more weeks to go until the end of the Summer Blockbuster season. What is the best movie you have seen during the Summer of 2015?

Mad Max: Fury Road was the most inventive. Ant-Man was the one I enjoyed the most.

Ricki and the Flash would be number one. Five Flights Up would be number two.
Love and Mercy would be number three and I will See You in My Dearms would be a tie for number one. Max was another good one. There has been many good ones this summer.

Five flights up was two hours of my life I'll never get back! What a snoozer!

Don't expect any Oscars but got many laughs out of Trainwreck. You need to know the movie theme is sex.

I haven't seen too much this summer yet, but for an action movie 'Jurassic World' especially in 3D was better than I expected and kept my attention.

For comedy I was pleasantly surprised that 'Vacation' was very funny and didn't have an over use of the F-work. I liked Ed Helms from the Office and he did a good job.

For a suspense thriller I saw 'The Gift' yesterday and I highly recommend this film. One of the co-stars Joel Edgerton, an Australian, wrote and directed the film, and I had never heard of him. Even though Jason Bateman is known mostly for comedy, he is very good in this drama along with Rebecca Hall who is from Britain. You might know her as the woman in bank heist film with Ben Affleck called The Town.
