Can anyone recommend a local urologist other than Advanced Urology? Looking for a quality urologist located between Ocala and Orlando. Pleasant staff would be nice as well as a reasonable wait time during an appointment, no more 1.5 hrs.

In my long experience with medical offices Advanced has to be the worst as to wait times and arrogant staff. Plus, Karvadia never would communicate on a new prescription and I was forced to make 1/2 day appts. :blahblahblah:

I just went for the first time to Advanced Urology. And met Dr. Karvadia for the first time. As for the facility, the staff entering, during, and exiting were pleasant and professional. Dr. Karvadia was professional, thorough, and easy to communicate with. He put me at ease and I feel good about him being my urologist.

I am seeing Dr Edward King at Advanced Urologists. I like him, and appointments have been handled efficiently.
Any other Dr King patients out there?

I go to Dr Dersch. No issues at all. I highly recommend Advanced Urology.

Husband has gone to Dr. King at that practice for many years. He likes Dr. King alot. Any doctor's office can have bad days, nasty people who have ruined the office helps day so they might not be in the best mood, emergencies come up, long winded patients, complicated cases, and all sorts of things can cause a doctor's office to run behind schedule. I know we have waited and waited and waited at many a doctor's office. It isn't just one.

Very sorry to hear that another man has aggressive prostate cancer as I do. I have been in treatment for four years and lived here in the Villages for two. I highly recommend coming to the free meetings at Laurel Manor on the first Wednesday of every month. Open to all. All meetings start at 7 PM. Disclaimer: I am one of the 4 facilitators that help to select our medical professionals to address the group. Please call me if you would like to discuss prostate cancer issues. I am not a doctor and do not offer anything more than my knowledge and experience. Steve Griffin 603-224-8602
