Today's Sun had an article regarding a new ordinance in Lady Lake regarding people cutting back trees (Oaks) until they look like hat racks. I've seen it done and now we know it's not only ugly but dangerous as well. It stresses and weakens the tree and when new branches grow in they are weaker and become a danger in strong winds. They will fine owners who choose to disfigure a tree in this way. :a040: Don't mess with Mother Nature!
