My husband and I are looking for authentic Italian cuisine. We are trying Giovannis tomorrow due to a post on here. Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance! 😊

We have enjoyed Riccardi's and Chefs of Napoli. The two times we've been to Luiogino's in Spanish Springs I ordered the spaghetti Bolognese and had to take 2/3's home. We have also enjoyed Red Sauce in Sumter Landing.

Went to Francesco's tonight and found it wonderful. Would like it spicier and will check next time I go to see if they have that option.

I like Takis in Leesburg for Italian as much as I like Giovanti's. They are both good.

There is not a GOOD Italian restaurant in TV, these so called Italian restaurants here would be out of business in any Italian neighborhood.

The good or bad is we may or may not have a good italian Restaurant, but we live in the villages. Decide which is more important to you and act accordingly.

Villager Joyce" you are absolutely right and I should have suffered in silence and not commented about this restaurant or in fact any. I'll try and remember that in the future.

Make your own sauce.Plenty of good recipes on the net.The secret is graded carrot, sweetens the sauce.

My comment was NOT aimed at you. You have absolutely no reason to suffer in silence. Your opinion is important to me and to TOTV. I have heartburn for days from the balsamic vinegar, but I think it is worth it.

uberschaf: in my American-Italian family you had an obligation to debate politics and religion, however, debating recipes was guaranteed to promote pandemonium...especially meat/meatless red sauce for pasta...So when it comes to cooking I say you got your garlic, you got your olive oil after that its all good:D

Another vote for Confessore pasta cuccina in Fruitland park. All of the pasta is homemade. You have a choice of pasta then chose one of about 30 sauces that is made fresh. A bit of a waiting time but so well worth it. Joyce, the chef, is Italian and truly know what she is doing. :clap2:

Confessore Pasta Cucina, in our opinion, is the best Italian any where near the bubble. You might find equivalent in Orlando, but nothing closer. It is not, Thank God, American Italian, which so many believe is Italian. Try it, you will love it...!!
