This probably wont go far ,but I wonder if we as a community can boycott democrat run businesses. I know that sounds extreme but how else can we get across to the liberals we as American citizens dont like the tearing down of this country. Also it will probably get a message to the republican conservatives. There I mentioned both parties I didnt discriminate.
I'm sure this would eventually get out to the media as everything else that happens here does. But isnt it time to make our voices heard. Hit them in the pocket book.
OK let the fire fly. Tell why not.
By the way GO TRUMP
Yep I'm a Trumper

OK let's assume we buy into the boycott. What magic do you have to offer that will identify who or what the establishments are that we are supposed to be boycotting?
I will be out back measuring passing clouds till I get the list!

THIS IDEA IS JUST SO BAD I CANNOT BELIEVE IT.
I am a conservative but you tout the free enterprise system by supporting Trump and then go against all the principles of it with a boycott BASED ON POLITICAL REGISTRATION.
THIS IS NOT JUST WRONG...IT IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.

I think this was meant to be a joke. We don't treat fellow Americans harshly just because we don't agree with them. I respect my fellow American's right to their opinion, even if I don't agree with them. Remember, liberals are the side that forces PC, not us.

I really strongly object to this post as well.
To refer to different political philosophies as "us" or them is obscene.
I often get after certain posters for party politics, but you may be the worst offender I have ever ever seen.
PLEASE divorce your party and get back to being an American.

I respect your right to an opinion that differs from mine. I understand that you disagree with me, but have no idea why. I am a conservative, but I still believe in live and let live....as long as they stay within the parameters of the law, ethics and morality. I doubt anyone is silly enough to think that you could boycott a business based on politics. Like someone else stated, how would you even know their politics? I have to chuckle when you state "I often get after certain posters for party politics.." when this is a political forum. That is pretty funny. And "divorce" my party? Why in the world would I do that? That IS what makes me an American. By the way, I did not say I was a Republican in my statement, but I am. Am I supposed to boycott my next door neighbors because they are Democrats? They are Democrats, and friends. Perhaps, you just misused the term "obscene."

Your post implies that whatever party you are affiliated with is perfect and you totally agree with everything they say.
I suggest that is almost impossible.
MY OPINION is that no real American votes PARTY first but on the issues. When we agree most times with one party then we register with that party and we can vote anyway we want. Voting STRAIGHT PARTY, to me, is lazy and un american.
The alternative is lets just count up the registrations and do not vote at all. I proudly say
I have never voted straight party in my life and I used to work for one party years ago.
I have never selected a business based on their political philosophy
I have never selected a friend based on their political philosophy
I do feel it obscene to even utter the words "boycott democrat run businesses."
THAT statement or act is about as un american as anyone can be. It is also very very scary to hear someone say that no matter how it is intended.

Friend, you need to chill out. I did NOT make the statement asking for a boycott. Just the opposite.
I have no idea what or who you wish to address this to, but for some reason you responded to my comment.
As far as voting straight party, there are some good reasons to do just that. Long ago, I voted for what I thought to be the best candidate, regardless of party. They talk a good story, as you know. They will say whatever you want to hear. Well, I made that mistake of voting out of party on a couple of occasions and was burned. Most (not all) congressional representatives will vote on bills according to/with their party. Regardless of whether or not I like my party's candidate, I WILL vote for him/her because I have a better chance of being represented according to my ideology. You can go ahead and vote for whomever you think is the prettiest, or offers you the most (being facetious) and get burned. I will vote straight party, and most likely the candidate that I do not "like" will vote on issues according to my party. You can disagree all you want. You can say my idea is "obscene" all you want, but in the end if you vote liberal, you get liberal votes in congress. If you vote conservative, you get conservative votes in congress.
I did not bait you or intend to get you upset. I still have no idea what you are even peeved at regarding my response to the subject of boycott. But, that's your right, being an American (I assume).

How would you go about identifying liberal owned business? And if they have conservative employees that lose their jobs because of a boycott?

Dear Guest: Do you think I just fell out of a tree. Your original post was obviously a set up and at the same time a dig at Trump.
The Democrat we ought to boycott is you off this forum. I am not sure you even vote...at least i hope you don't

If you are correct, I can only say after many years on here, that there are some really immature people who post on here.
Immature does not do it justice !

What could possibly be a motivation ?

Because the poster is deranged, discourteous, inconsiderate and unbalanced.

Instead of boycotting, lets support the conservative businesses such as chick fil la, Hobby Lobby, etc. The Muslim free gun shop etc... I always support those with the same values I have

Yes, but we are better than those UN-American subversives. We don't punish those that don't agree with us. And, when they boycotted those businesses, they did a booming business. So actually, the liberals helped those businesses.
