Have tried in vain to find someone who I can trust with an honest repair. It seems my A/C went out and found out the 5 year warranty ran out 6 months ago and hopefully someone can refer me to a good A/C repair company that I can get an estimate as I "think" the compressor went out but not sure
Appreciate any and all help in finding a reliable company that I can find as I am not one to handle the heat for very long.
Thank you again

My unit is 6 years old. I just had my first outage last week. The symptoms were: the outside unit fan on top was moving very slow, and unit was not cooling. I called Munn's they came and the fellow replaced a capacitor that is used to start the compressor and the fan on the outside unit. The gentleman said he had replaced 5 that day. At 10 o'clock on a Thursday night I paid $87.00. I looked online for the capacitor and found it for $35.00 (part only). I am very happy with the service I received from Munn's. I also think the price was more than fair. I do have Munn's service my system 2 times a year, and this may or may not have effected the price.

Wow!! I just had the same experience with except I was told that it was a minimum of $80.00 for a diagnostic fee. I was charged $172.00 for the capacitor plus $80 for a diagnostic charge. I was surprised because most companies include diagnostic or service charge in the bill. Maybe some capacitors cost more than others, they seem to vary on what they charge for a diagnostic fee.
I was actually very happy with the service until I read this post.
