My friend is moving here next month. She has Rheumatoid Arthritis and is on very strong meds that need careful monitoring with routine and frequent blood work and adjusted according to her symptoms and blood testing.

Our dilemma is.... how can she get quick status as a patient with a Rheumatologist so these issues can be monitored without a lapse of care and terrible flare up of pain and RA symptoms?

Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated.

I do not know if there is any way to get in quickly. You may need to use one of the urgent care facilities for 1 to 3 months before you get into the system, you might try Dr. Ingram off RT 441 opposite side from Target, sorry I do not have a specific address. My wife uses him.

I recommend a call to Dr. Kenneth Stark in Leesburg. Lab work is done in TV. A little way to drive to see a good doctor. He takes my RA seriously.

Dr Bookbinder in Ocala is excellent. Yes it's ocala but he is worth it. A friend who's husband is a GP recommended him for my mom and he has worked miracles.
