Recreation center room rental

Has anyone experienced the slow respond to a room rental request.
I submitted a request last Tuesday and called to find out I have
seven requests ahead of me. They must not have a spread sheet
or any kind of a program to use. This seems to me to be a very
poor system

I recently booked a room for a Christmas party December 6th. It took about a week to get a room assigned.
