We will be taking a cruise out of Ft Lauderdale and thought we would like to take some of TOTV's advice and drive there and park at Park & Go. However we don't know where it's located although surmise it must be near the port. How can we get driving directions from TV to the parking lot? If we Mapquest directions, what
should be entered as our destination?

Also, does the shuttle service from Park&Go to the cruise ships and back to the parking lot run often or is there a long wait?

Thank you in advance for taking time to help us with these questions.

We have used them for our last couple of cruises. They are great! Use your GPS to get there.

I realize you are talking about Park & Go but you might want to consider this:

We used Premier Parking in Tampa recently and it was a wonderful experience.

They are now in Lauderdale (Everglades Cruise port). Below is the info I copied from their website for you.
In Tampa we went early and had a 10 min wait only. Very efficient.
$5.95 daily. very short drive to the port-when we returned they were waiting for us and took us immediately to the car. We will use them from Lauderdale when we cruise again

You might want to go to cruisecritic.com and enter Ft. Lauderdale parking in the search engine. Lots of cruisers have comments on both companies.

You will read some horror stories about "cheap" parking companies in Ft. Lauderdale...including those who don't have enough vans to shuttle people. People complained that they had to wait so long, they ended up calling for a taxi!!

We used Park 'N Go last time we cruised and were exceptionally pleased with them. Reasonably priced. LOTS of vans shuttling people to and from the ship. Very organized. Plus, upon our return, they dropped you off right in front of your car which was very nice so we didn't have to lug our luggage around the large parking area.

What we like most about Park N Go is that they have dedicated shuttle buses for each cruise ship. No more riding on the shuttle while they visit every terminal and waiting for others to get off and get their luggage before you can get to your ship. Book online ahead of time and the price is lower. We feel very safe leaving our car there.

The directions to their lot are right on their website. Your GPS will take your right there.

We have used Park and Go for years and found their service excellent. They also do airport parking.

If you are going around Thanksgiving, be sure to book well in advance as this is a very crowded time of the year.
