Beware! Three months ago, Aspen Dental made a plan of care with me. Yesterday, when I showed up for my appointment, I was told that the plan that was approved is no longer approved by Aspen Dental and my chart was altered! I know that I am a senior citizen- but I have no lost my mind and I still know what works for my dental care. Aspen Dental's philosophy is "Their way or the Highway"
I took the highway and now am looking for a new dentist.- Any suggestions?

I haven't gone to Aspen Dental, but I did experience first hand a dentist here that said I needed seventeen thousand dollars worth of work. This is after a lifetime of seeing my dentist and hygienist every six months.
There are some very unscrupulous dentists here in Florida and some wonderful ones.We use Palm Ridge Dentistry near the High School.

I love my dentist at Marion Dental. Another dentist said I needed all this expensive work done. Went to Marion Dental and he said I didn't need all that. Dr. Edwards is awesome !

Both my husband and I recently switched to Dr. Howell (on 466 near Rolling Acres). In my case, he determined the expensive deep root scaling almost forced on me by my former dentist was unnececcary. Have been back 2 times for cleanings. Good office staff, wonderful dental hygienist, caring doctor, reasonable prices...what more can you ask for?

Corporate owned dental offices are about money. Most require x number of certain treatments to be eligible for higher pay scale or bonus. Where do you think they get them from when they don't have enough walk through the door. Upsell Upsell. Some of these places have top notch dentist doing topnotch work but you need to be more careful when choosing one for your dental care. People can easly be swayed by money. Medical and dental should not be money driven sales focused corporate entities
