On FOX News there is a show daily at noon call Outnumbered. The women on the show always wear solid color dresses. Why solid all the time?

I would guess that most prints don't photograph well for TV. Sometimes you will see a tie on a news reporter that looks distorted and weird, because the pattern doesn't work well on TV.''
This is just my guess!

As a guy, what's the issue? I think all the women on Fox are both very intelligent and attractive and as I watch today, all seem to wear solid colors. Now of course I will have to surf to see if it just FOX or all the newscasts....oh, the things we have to do....:)

All the women on Fox News wear solid colors. If anyone watched Elizabeth Hasselbeck before she came to Fox you would know that she owned no solid colored clothes. Since her first day on Fox & Friends she has worn nothing but solid colored dresses. They all must have gotten the dress code memo.

I noticed the same thing. Aren't they intelligent and lovely? I need a new dress for a wedding. Plan to look for a solid color....with sleeves.

My opinion is professional, or just the sign of the fashion time now.

Some patterns just do not respond to the camera lighting and electronic reproduction. Some even causing motion where there is none. Can be very distracting and not acceptable to those technical folks responsible for broadcast quality.
