Does a person's visits to a thread count each time he/she goes there, or does the system track who visits and counts that person only once no matter how many times he/she returns to that thread? I look at the 'never-ending story' with over 13,000 visits and wonder.... Thanks!

That was MY visits alone, Sidney, I have been counting them.

I'm not sure I understand the question. Every time somebody clicks onto a thread to read it, the meter counts one.

You did understand the question, Talk Host, since what you said did answer it. In other words, ALL the times that graciegirl says she goes to the 'never-ending story,' EVERY ONE of those visits counts as a visit (rather than her--or anyone else visiting any thread--being counted only ONCE no matter how often he or she returns to that same thread). This would explain, say, using the example I gave in the question, how one thread can have had over 13,000 'hits.' Thanks!
