I don't know but likely quite a few, (nor am I there as much actually LOL) but I like the summer rain,
it cools things off nicely and helps the plants

All I know is that I shoveled more snow up in NY then I ever shoveled in Florida. ;D

We got about 4 (north) - 8 (south) inches, depending on where you are.

I rode around a little Friday afternoon from Spanish Springs to OBH to Mallory and did not see any flooding damage. The retention ponds are looking good & full. Lake Mira Mar is up quite a bit and the stairs that go from the La Hacienda Rec center to the lake and partially under water.
I'd say as long as your landscaping and downspouts and roof are in good order you should be ok.

I'll say thanks too for the update aln. Been up north for some time now. Weather great these past few weeks but wondering how you all are doing at home (villages). :)

As far as I'm concerned, this says it all. And as snowbirds we enjoy the best of both worlds!

You can count the days yourself using this link:

Pick the month you care about for offical temp, precip etc.

Thanks Russ!
I used your link to check my precipitation in Utah, and I see that we had 0.04" on August 10th. That's it. That's all the rain for the month. Yes, they measure precipitation in hundredths of an inch here. I don't remember that rain storm. :dontknow:

A good 4" rain here means that the raindrops land 4" apart. ;D
