The spouse was talking to several landscaping companies for some work at our new home south of 466A (changing out some plants, maybe add a palm/stone stack, maybe take out some grass and increasing the mulched area). A couple of companies said that no ARC approval was needed (because we werent planning on making any changes in the swale area next to our next-door-neighbors or for some reason like this). A rep for a third company said that ARC was absolutely needed and that they work to get us through the process. This person also made the observation that the new landscaping work of one of the neighbors was in clear and flagrant violation of the deed restrictions (no, not just a gaudy piece of bird art). A quick call to the Community Standards confirmed that we would need ARC approval before starting work.
This process was certainly a learning for us glad that we didnt go with the first company; they wanted to start the very next day!
