Smalldog, we saw plenty of Gambuzia (sp?) fish in the "natural" ponds and the decorative ponds when we were in TV a few weeks ago. We have them in our pond in Utah. The County Mosquito Abatement people bring them to us every spring. The fish Looooove mosquito larvae.
Is the standing water separate from the golf course ponds? If so, there might be a problem. If the ponds are just very full, the fish should take care of any mosquitos.

Smalldog Sez Standing water refers to water that has ponded out side of the decorative ponds and normal water hazards ::) and so fish on the fairway, perhaps not but it seems to perking to the soil at a good rate and the local mosquito hazard may not occur at all...... perhaps I am just impatient ...........phewww ;D

Just put some bug dope on your legs and you'll be fine...Down here they use Sorghum molasses .......
About a thimble full should be enough.....However I did see a golfer on Amberwood that would need at least 1 1/2 gallons ....
