Dr. Inamdar, also at Heart of The Villages. Very up to date, caring and accessible to all his patients.

We are so very pleased with our Villages Health Care Centers. Go to web site and each physician will say a few words.
Colony Care Center | The Villages (http://www.thevillageshealth.com/colonycenter.php)
We usually see our docs right on time. Are very pleased. If a personality conflict easy to change docs. Many centers throughout The Villages. Web site is for Colony, but can see others from this page.

Absolutely agree with Dr Courtier - he is totally awesome. Can't agree with Dr. Agbo. Very bad experience with him. Ok for check ups but if you have a problem have found him to not be as responsive as I think he should be. Doesn't seem to listen but likes to talk. His staff can also be very rude and short at times. Want to really like him but just not impressed at all. Sorry

Sign up with The Villages Health System! We've been with them 2 yrs now and haven't had any red flags at all. They will refer you to the specialists that you need.
We use Florida Heart and Vascular for cardiology. Our clinic for our primary is Buenas Aires near 448/27.
Asking questions on this site can be helpful BUT you also will get a plethera of different answers which can be confusing as well.

Citrus Cardiology on Old Camp Rd in Lake Sumter is fantastic! My favorite Dr there is Dr Brian Saluck. However, ive seen on this site that many of the Docs at this practice are awesome as well.

My experience with Citrus Cardiology hasn't been so great. Initial visit wait time was over an hour. O.K. things happen and schedules get shuffled due to emergencies or whatever, but no explanation was offered. Six month check was a little better with a 45 min. wait. Thought about looking for different cardiologist but had a situation occur that required a cardiologist and this time all I got was a phone conversation after leaving phone messages and enlisting the help of other physicians office staff insisting the cardiologist call me.

Try Dr. Vinod Miryala with Citrus Cardiology. He really is an excellent cardiologist. I've never waited more than 20 minutes. For physicians, in general, I usually try to get a first in the morning or first after lunch appointment. If they are late for those the cause is usually a true emergency.

That really is too bad that you waited so long. I've been going for over 3 years and have NEVER waited over 10 minutes. Maybe a few Dr's have scheduling issues. I have always seen Dr Saluck and never a long wait. He's young, personable, very knowledgable and never hesitates to send you to a surgeon if needed. The surgeons with Citrus are also great, as well as the techs that are needed for testing.

Are Canadians allowed to sign up with The Villages Health System?
Or do you need to be covered by Medicare?
(We have a private insurance plan that covers us in TV).

I agree with Whimsey about Dr. Agbo - based on a couple of glowing reviews on here my husband went to him. Although he has a very nice bedside manner, his suggested plan of treatment made no sense - too long to get into and it is difficult to see him (always seems to be away). His office staff are either rude, or if you do get someone that is polite - they are unresponsive. I have called 2X about getting a referral and am still waiting 3 weeks later. We are now on the look for another Dr.
