If you would support it by participating, we can add it.
Sure as long as the NY Football Giants are included (and of course the Yankees)

Sure, Need somewhere to brag about my Steelers!!!!!!!(Hopefully!!!)
I would comment in it and I think it might bring in more users as the word gets out.
Like anything, it would be seasonal with the various playoffs, championships and events.

Talk sports? Now, where's the fun in that? Do we get to discuss the days of yore like my undefeated Fish or the Royals with Brett or .... or ....?
Can we ban the Yankee fans? Better yet, give them their own forum and never let them cross that line (no visiting the nice, sane folks who won't be frothing at the mouth). Hmmm, guess Boston fans will have to be part of the Yankee forum.
I would participate, and it would make a whole lot more sense than when I posed a sports question on the political page (rookie mistake :dontknow:) .

..."I'm for xxx!", or "Go yyy".
Or even worse, mud-slinging at a traditional opponent just for the fun of it.
If there were some real sports discussion, of course I would.

I would definitely participate. Sports talk can be stimulating and fun without the seriousness that political controversy can generate. By the way are there any Fantasy Football leagues in TV,if not I'd be interested in organising one ???--Steve

With all the new forums available now, maybe TOTV should split. The new forums in one group, and the older, more TV informative, in another.

Yes, Yes, Yes!
Particularly if it was sports other than golf - there's already enough coverage of that in TV 24/7, and I'm afraid it would take over a sports forum here.
Would love to discuss college sports especially ~

Absolutely I look forward to it and I agree with other posters, golf isn't the only sport to talk about. Besides, it have a Love-Hate relationship going on with my golf game right now.

You know, of course, we wouldn't outlaw golf discussion. That would defeat the purpose of an open discourse. Unless it is about Obama or McCain golfing.
Going to a bar to watch VT today!

I still say that too often in TV the golfers turn discourse into talk about 'this course'. Glad that football season is starting!
Just a little humor ;) don't get 'teed off' at me, please!

Any chance of getting some in-depth discussion of strategy used in the luge? Or maybe synchronized swimming? And with so many northern neighbors on board, we could possibly generate some exciting debate on curling.
