Can I go with you? No beer but Bloody marys would be good and potato salad.

Let's form a golf cart caravan, head through the woods, and crash the party....I'm sure they would be happy to see all of us. :)

Muncle....I think some of us were just having fun! But seeing your posts I just wanted to say....it seems you are feeling better and we are glad to see you back here in full swing.....
It's amazing to me that all you lefties, libs, and dems make such a big deal about the Morse family having a party where the bush's are invited. Maybe they like to hang around with respectable, successful, God fearing happy people one of which is President of the U.S.
I wonder what you would have to say if Lord Obama went to Barbara Strisands for a lib party, or maybe Move on or the daily kos, George Sorros would be proud. You would be proud.
If you people weren't so whiny all the time I bet you would be way more happy.
Didn't I tell you that it's Bush's fault that sink holes are opening, or maybe it was that Fay hit land, or both
I know one thing ..If Dems ran the villages you wouldn't be very happy.

benj,
Ouch....I usually try to ignore the nasty personal posts that crop up from time to time, but your last post really rubbed me wrong. With a few slight exceptions, the posts on this thread were gentle humor, not political, and not critical of The Developer. I don't understand why you took this opportunity in a non-political thread to express such anger and hostility. The vast majority of people on this board and in this community are extremely happy with their lifestyle and not "whiny all the time".
Villages07.
A little thin skinned aren't you. I went back and read my post and found nothing I said to be "nasty or personal". And you misunderstand, I'm not angry or hostile. Just making the point that it's the dems on this site that routinely call name and make snied remarks about Bush or Republicans.
One of my last posts was..VOTE DEMOCRAT>>>>>IT"S EASIER THAN WORKING.
Just my personal opinion. For that I was called crazy and ignorant and was to be dismissed( like they had the power to dismiss anyone )
The truth is they expect me to get up early and go to work (even if I don't feel like it )work my but off to try to be successful so they can take half or more from me and give it to someone who doesn't go to work. And speaking of angry and hostile go back through the posts in political and see who's angry hostile. I'm just sayin. Benj

Both the Republicans and the Democrats have worked very hard on the Work Fair idea. Welfare rolls have been reduced nationwide by putting limits on the number of years people have to get off the rolls.
Also you need look at what has happened to this country's budget since the Republicans took control in 2001. This administration has expanded the federal government, cut taxes in a time of war and an borrowed the bulk of the money from a Communist country. We are so in debt to China that when they sell us pet food that kills our pets and heparin that kills our people....our government is afraid to do anything for fear they will call the debt in.
And are you sure you are in the 50% tax bracket?

As I said to Muncle...we are just having a little fun...perhaps maybe we are a little jealous...not of the dinner with Bush family, although Laura and the girls seem nice, but maybe of the dinner with the Morse family...wouldn't it be lovely to see that homestead?
We are just playing around...this is a non-political conversation!

Stay away from politics. It polarizes people and makes them make irrational statements.

I'm apolitical - I'll attend either party. With the current president at the Morse's or with former president Clinton at the Barbara Streisand bash!
Whether or not you like someone's politics you have to admire any man/woman who rises to the level of President of the U.S.! I certainly do and I would love to meet either one.
