Bill is only getting 10 minutes for his speech tonight !! Can you imagine - only 10 minutes for the former President who won 2 terms in office. A Democrat hasn't done that since I don't know when.
What are they afraid of? I hope he stays up there for an hour just to see what they'd do. Maybe the hook would come out ! :dontknow:
One thing they capitulated on is having the roll call done in its entirety. Yeah, these are people we can trust !! NOT...
This is embarrassing.

Sooooo, why is this embarrassing? :dontknow: Actually no one is afraid of anything. President Clinton was asked to address the convention to give his support to Senator Obama. How many minutes does that take? Also, after Clinton voiced his objection to the subject matter Senator Obama's staff had wanted him to speak on, Senator Obama told his staff that "Out of respect for President Clinton, he can say whatever he likes for how ever long he wants to speak." I don't see fear here.
I'm a big fan of President Clinton, but I know he's not a good looser. After all, he's never lost before. He's taking his wife's loss personally. However, don't ever underestimate the Clinton's. Like Hillary last evening, President Clinton will step up and undeniably support Senator Obama. Watch. ;)

Of course he will. He doesn't want to ruin any chance of Hillary running and winning in 2012. It is all about Bill.

Yes, he will handle it like the professional politician he (and all others....BOTH parties)....he will say and do what ever it takes to preserve personal gain....no magic to understanding the politics.

Chels: My point was that it is embarrassing the way they have treated Mr. Clinton and Hillary for that matter. However, if you remember, Bill was like the Democrat 'rock star.' Now they have completed turned on him and treat him like the relative you don't want at Thanksgiving. Then to parade Jimmy Carter out there like he is Obie wan Knobi when he was the worst President next to Herbert Hoover.
THAT is embarrassing no matter how you (you meaning in the pajoritive sense) want to spin it.

I loved Bill Clinton's line
The world is impressed by the power of our example
not by the example of our power.
For all his faults, Clinton was a much better president than either Bush.

We didn't mention who we were all voting for as that is personal....however we did agree that Obama was a great speaker! This is our opinion and we have the right to it!!!
