Went for a cart ride down Morse, yesterday and took the street where they are building the new rustic looking rec center. Riding down the streets we noticed a new patio villa neighborhood being built. A few are near completion, about half are roughed in, and the rest are in the early roughing in process, or freshly cemented slabs ready to start. The neighborhood seems to be the same size as the previously built ones. It seems the stories about no new patio villas was incorrect. We live in a cabot cove and love it. The front lania is very private, and lets one interact more with neighbors walking or riding down the street. i believe they are in the oceola village. Should start selling them soon.:wave:

Well our sales rep was right. He told us to sell before the new patio villas were going to be built.

It sounds like it is but in reality most patio villas have solar shades or blinds and are quite private if you want them to be. It's the front lanai facing the street that allows you to see and quickly interact with all your neighbors that is so wonderful.
We moved but I've been thinking about adding a little front wall at our entrance to put a seating area to try and get some of that back. Before everyone had backyards, the veranda was where you sat and socialized and people interacted with passing neighbors less when we moved to the backyard.

Our first property in TV was a Cabot Cove and we loved it. I never understood "why" they quit building the neighborhood Villas. Good to hear they are back.
