You know, I have evolved in my view regarding Iran and the middle east having nuke weapons. Instead of fighting over "deals" and "treaties" with these countries, why don't we go ahead and set an example of our generosity once and for all. I now think that if Iran wants a nuke, then we should stop blocking them and present them with one of ours. A good one, well made. Drop that sucker right on top of them so that they can see first hand how well ours are made. :boom: Made in the U.S.of A. Once we show our generosity, I bet the other neighboring countries will suddenly see peace as we view peace. The middle East only respects strength and power. Lets show them that we have both. Then the refugee problem will no longer be an issue.

Actually, we have already done a lot for the refugee problem.

We reduced it substantially a few years ago.

Remember when children were being gunned down in the streets and being gassed, and our President drew a red line ?

Well, we did nothing about any of it and now the refugee number is reduced by all the children we left die at that time.

Might say the same thing about allowing Libya to become what is is.

But we have reduced the numbers for sure.

It is simply amazing how so many posters can come on this site and with such ardent fervor speak of how terrible the black criminals have it in this country.

And totally ignore the plight of the refugees.

I know that does not relate but I think of how much these posters will personally attack people on here about one criminal and never say one single word about these refugees.

Before the political forum was in existence there were a few threads begun concerning the children in Syria and Libya and Yemen.

Those threads got NO posts....NOTHING......

Actually, by failing to act, that's essentially the position we're being forced into ... it's either that, or learn how to pray facing Mecca.

I'm fully confident we'll continue to ignore the lessons of history and put off the (threat of) use of force, until we have no options left except actually using force. Nice job, Obie.
