A crane owned by the Bin Laden construction company falls on 9/11 and kills over one hundred people at a Mosque in Mecca.
My question is:
Is that Karma or Irony?

Interestingly enough the crane was struck by lightning. Here are some photos of the wreckage and carnage. Mecca's Grand Mosque crane collapse leaves 107 people dead | Daily Mail Online (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3231117/At-62-people-dead-crane-collapses-Grand-Mosque-Mecca.html)

My vote would be for tragedy.

Sorry, have to side with tragedy. I pulled no punches regarding my feelings about the 9/11 terrorists and their impact yesterday on the "what were you doing" thread, but this is (presumably) innocent practitioners of a religion on their pilgrimage to worship their god, So I can't bring myself to wish them ill will. Now if it were specifically a group of 9/11 reunion terror pilgrims.......

"Schadenfreude"not my thing. This was a tragedy I would not wish upon people and especially innocent people Ghastly acts by madmen have been with us since the creation of mankind. Given the human propensity for revenge America has acted remarkably well in balancing the rules of engagement with the need to meet its mission and preserve the lives of its combatants. it would be naive to expect consistent and flawless operations. It is war after all and wars will always be with us and always carry with it unmentionable horrors
