He is Minnesota's Governor. The U of MN Law School was extremely liberal at least it was when I was there. Must have been ten conservative voices to 90 liberal ones. Tim Pawlenty is from the U of MN Law School Class of 1986. I was 1989.

NBC is reporting this morning that they have verified that it is NOT him, but the speculation caused me to read a bit about him and he is an interesting guy !

Will be interesting to see whom John McCain picks? Seems like the most important decision McCain will make given Barack Obama's wise choice with Senator Joe Biden.

I wanted to check on Tim Pawlenty's background in case he might have been in one of my law school classes or was there after I graduated when I worked a few hours each week on the law library's reference desk. He graduated before I got there.

There was a Mondale in some of my law school classes. William H. Mondale.
