Kind of surprised no one has reviewed Walk in the Woods.
We saw it last week at Old Mill in Sumter Landing and the theater was full of laughter during most of the film. Nolte was excellent as the old reprobate from Bryson's (Redford) past who joins him on a journey to show they aren't dead yet. Plenty of great scenery and good humor. Recommend it to anyone over 40.

I read the book it was based on. Have also experienced about 475 miles of the trail. What worries me is the overcrowding this is going to cause next spring with all the new hikers wanting to experience it. Bad enough problem now at both ends and in the gsmnp.

Well, I am over 40. I was going to wait for the DVD on this one, but may go see it on a bigger screen. Thanks for the review.

Loved A Walk in the Woods. If anyone has not seen Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid I would recommend it highly for seeing it before you see A Walk in the Woods!

The hotels, cabins, rest stops, etc. were quite interesting.
