Real funny, remember in some countries people still eat dogs, I wonder if they are tasty?
I think the point was that even animals destined for eventual slaughter should be treated humanely during their lives and not subjected to needless pain or abuse.
And then there are the retailers exposed which say they only buy happy animals to try and make their businesses look like a better choice.

To my mind, happy meat is a 2 inch medium rare grilled strip steak on my plate. In this case, it's not about the journey, it's about the destination.:icon_hungry:

Since PETA was exposed for accepting donated money for "rescuing" animals from shelters and then killing them and dumping the bodies along I-95, I no longer pay any attention to anything that gang of frauds have to say. :blahblahblah:
