FOX News has done the country a huge favor by disinviting Donald Trump on their shows.

Trump fired back and said he would not appear on their shows in the forseeable future.

This leads me to believe that without FOX News supporting him, Trump will nullify his "pledge" and run as a third party candidate against the FOX News picks of Fiorina and Rubio.

I agree totally. I said on here a bit ago that he will assure a Democratic win and he has done it.

I say HAS because it is too late now. He cannot be the nominee and will get the Party for rebuffing him.

Regarding "regressives" I find it humorous that you have chosen to use the Huffington Post suggestion of calling conservatives "regressives" when the fact is that liberals that claim to be progressives are actually attempting to steer America into old time socialism. So, if the term is going to be used correctly, you would indeed have to use it as a self descriptor instead of the improper use of "progressive." But, by all means continue to be led by the ignorant that want to propagate ignorance. Be a follower or "lead from behind" ha, ha. Apparently, words have different meaning for the uninformed, or should I say ignorant. The Tea Party stands for the Constitution. What do liberals stand for? I would bet that it is not the constitution, otherwise they couldn't be "progressive" right? Wake up, you can't redefine words to camouflage your ideology. Romans thought they were progressives but their debauchery was their downfall. Germany was progressive, using socialism as their ideology and their downfall. The first settlers in America were socialists using the Mayflower Compact as their rule, and discarded it after almost destroying their community.
You are NOT a progressive. You might be a liberal, but not a progressive. You are a regressive. America's system of Free Enterpise and exceptionalism, with a government of laws founded on Judeo-Christian principles is what makes us the most powerful economic entity in the world. Change that, and you make us just another third world wannabe.

I've never considered Trump as a serious candidate for president. He does bring up controversial arguments, which I do appreciate. But, I don't like the guy. He is doing us a favor by being so obnoxious. He is motivating the potential voting mass to pay a bit more attention to politics. Most don't. He has turned into a bull in a china shop that he owns. He is out of control and does not represent the majority regardless of polls. He is rich and successful, so he does deserve a forum. He might be favored in the polls for one thing or another but the majority won't vote for him. Just a fringe element will support him as a candidate. Unlike the other liberal media late night shows that demean and slur people personally, FOX will not endorse such behavior. They may disagree and condemn actions but won't demean and slur.

It has been suggested and I for one agree given the past and present relationship with the Clintons that Trump's real role is to run as a spoiler (Trojen Horse)in every possible way to damage the Republican Presidential Campaign and gain advantage for Hillary

I also believe that this scenario is likely given how off the cuff unprepared and seemingly unconcerned Trump is about the issues that this nation faces.


He has succeeded in gaining more airtime and taking away valuable time that other candidates require to have voters know who they are and what they plan on doing

"Paralysis by Analysis" All of these discussion bullets are nice but we are a long way from the real thing. When the Republican field is down to a reasonable amount of contenders, in time, then predictions and analysis will have a chance at accuracy. This is akin to the NFL. Dallas had great expectations until Romo went out, now all that has changed. Accuracy will have a chance near week 10 - 12 of the NFL season, as will political speculation around the same time.
