Atlas Dog Park Grand Opening

I just got a call from TV telling me that the grand opening of the Atlas Dog Park is tomorrow, September 25th at 9 AM. And, that the bench Mom and I adopted is in place!

Unfortunately, we are in Michigan but it gives me one more reason to go down to TV!

Me too! Mom and I did the bench in memory of my late father, brother and sister-in-law. It will give my 91 year old mother somewhere to sit when Lexi is playing in the Small Dog Park.

It is near the Belle Glade Country Club. It's not open yet but it consists of two large fenced in areas. Located off of moyers loop just past Belglade CC. The road is not open yet but it can be seen from the Golf Course.

Maybe the Parr ladies or whoever dreams up these names of the Villages' properties were pre-occupied with maps, Ann Rand, exercise equipment, or Greek/Roman deities?

I wish we could have been there for the opening today. Had to get back home to MI so couldn't be there. We stopped by to check the park out while we were there though and were impressed. Looking forward to taking our dog for a walk there when we finally get to move to TV since the park is so close to us in Labelle.

Carson and I were at the opening this morning, which was very well attended, and all the dogs loved it! Hopefully, we all won't show up at the same time in the future, as it was a bit crazy, especially in the big dog area! We're happy to have a place closer to home (Hadley) so we don't have to haul all the way to Doggie Doo Run Run.

I played Belle Glade on Friday. On the 5th tee of the Seminole nine you're right across from the dog park about 75 yards away. I looked over at the dog park at about 2pm and thought, it must be open there were about 15 to 20 cars there. If you know where Belle Glade Country Club is, just continue past the club house and it will be down on the right at the end of the road.
