I've read some criticism of Pope in this forum and I'm not surprised. I'm not a very spiritual person but was stuck by the contrast between a man who has given his life to help people in the middle of 535 of our public servents who do little more than enrich themselves and their families and while enjoying all the privileges and trappings of their elected positions. Makes one proud to be an American does it not?

It does not. I especially liked the standing ovation when he made a point that 177 of them just voted AGAINST. I'm not sure I like the Pope dabbling in politics, but at least he's not a hypocrite

177 self serving phonies; what else could be expected?
