This is exactly why Boehner left and I am sure more will follow.
This President not only bypasses the Republicans in congress but also his own party.
Point here and the most important point is ONE MAN is making decisions that this country will live with for as long out as I can see...ONE MAN. He, Valarie Jarret, etc just feel they are always right.
They may in fact be...who knows, but allowing another voice to be heard would reassure many.
"At the United Nations Monday, President Barack Obama touted what are probably the two biggest items left on his to-do list before leaving office — a global warming agreement later this year in Paris and a settlement to the Syria conflict. Congress barely got a mention.
The Paris accord, like the Iran deal before it, will be strictly an executive agreement, given that Obama wouldn’t have the votes to pass anything in either chamber. Prospects seem to have improved for getting a deal after last week’s agreement with China, which has announced plans to implement a cap-and-trade scheme and push for a global accord in France. Congress, if it gets a chance to weigh in at all, will be via an effort to disapprove Obama’s carbon regulations.
Obama's Global Warming, Syria Push at UN (http://www3.blogs.rollcall.com/white-house/obamas-global-warming-syria-push-united-nations-skips-congress/)
Then, he is good...he will blame congress for all of it.

You hit it on the head. We have our own third world tyrant in the White House.
Global Warming. What a joke. As if man can change the weather. We have the cleanest air we have had since I was a child. Obama wants to be involved because he can make silly claims that can't be proven. He has accomplished nothing good in his two terms so he thinks he can tout a success if he can pass some stupid international agreement that won't do anything for us, but hurt us. And it will be totally useless as far as other countries. He is a pathetic and disappointing failure.

I do not profess any great knowledge on this subject but read a number of articles, but.....
I would like to ask this....the articles I read did not dismiss global warming, but did dismiss any action that does not include everyone in the world, mostly including China.
The results, according to what I have read, would be very very minimal if done in the USA !!

Bingo! We have already cleaned up our air. But, that doesn't help the rest of the world. We can't be the pollution police for everyone. When I was posted in Turkey, the air was so bad in the winter from burning soft coal that you couldn't see the top of the buildings from the ground. On the other hand, when I was in India, they did away with a lot of gasoline burning taxis and made them go to natural gas for the taxis and tuk-tuks in New Delhi. At the same time, they burnt so much manure that airlines couldn't land their planes at times in the winter, because of the smog. People can be convinced but it's wrong to mandate everyone to your view on the subject.

With Obama far surpassing Jimmy Carter as the worst President in my lifetime, IMHO, I think he has done less to nullify Boehner than the Tea Party. Nothing happens anywhere without negotiation, and I think the GOP ultra right wing (Tea Party), is trying to offset the super liberals on the other side of the aisle with opposite extremism. As long as we have these polar opposites, nothing will get done. People for get that Reagan and Tip had their knock down drag outs, but at the end of the day, they compromised and it worked. Elect "conservative" moderates!

Regardless of extremes, right or left, I think that I prefer the ideology of the Tea Party, which is in conjunction with the Republican party's ideology over that of the left, which mirrors that of European Socialism. Socialism is bad for our American way, and smaller government and less gov dependence is good for us. Compromise is good when both parties compromise. Not good when one party is COMPROMISED, or bullied into submission. In the past six years, I have seen no compromise from the administration or his party. They have gotten their way every time, even if the tyrant needed to abuse executive order power.

Let us assume you are correct.
On what issues of substance has that "super liberal" group compromised or even suggested they were open to compromise ?
The WH is steamrolling every progressive item with no consultation or attempt to compromise. Boehner found out that the left wants everyone out of their way.
So, without the Tea Party or Tea Party mentality, we are on the express highway to socialism and Marxism.
While neither extreme is welcome, since the left will not in any way compromise, what is left ?

Obama, as classless as ever, took obvious political shots at th UN yesterday at Trump and the GOP. His office and stature keeps shrinkning.
Plus, Putin made him look like an impotent idiot and is now the new leader of the International Order. I don't think Obie has even figured that out yet.

:agree: Until this administration, presidents acted presidential. Even if Clinton did get caught with his pants down, he was still a bit of a statesman. This administration acts like a common celebrity rapper, totally unprofessional and embarrassing.
