I have done a search on Neurologists and waded through the posts. Sounds like I will have to go outside of The Villages to find someone decent. My LO does not have Alzheimers, he has frontal lobe dementia, which is somewhat different then Alz - and cannot be treated with the same meds. We can go to Gainesville, Orlando or Tampa. Mayo does not take our plan. If anyone has had good experiences with Neurologists in this area of expertise I'd appreciate it.

My wife has exacty the same thing diagnosed about 2 years ago by Dr Geliga. We really like his knowledge, style and manner. You never feel rushed when visiting him. He's located in Leesburg........

Thank you so much shimpy. I will give him a call. I am just learning about ftd - not a pretty future but hope dr geliga can provide some insight. All the best to you and your wife.
