Books recommended for kids usually vary from community-to-community. I was kind of interested in how TOTVers re-act to books that the NYPL recommended for their library users with very young kids.
I used to reshelve kids books at the East Lake Community Library and visit with a very nice Children's Librarian there while I was a volunteer from 2000 through 2003. I also would sometimes read books to my nieces Tal and Tar once in a while back then. Zac was a little too old for picture books in the 2000s.
We did discover a new group of kids one 5 a few months ago but I doubt if that family will be visiting the Villages any time soon.
