We are going away for a few days. Was wondering does anyone just drive themselves to the MCO airport and park there for a few days?

I've done it a few ways.....last time I was very pleased with Airport Parking Reservations.com: Discount Airport Parking Reservations at airports nationwide (http://www.airportparkingreservations.com) and kept the car at the Renaissance Orlando Airport Hotel...about one mile away from the airport. They take you to the airport and return you to your car when you fly back. You park your car in their gated parking lot and lock it and YOU keep your keys. It only cost about $3.00 per day.

Of course there are many options....some a bit more pricey....

Hope this helps....Frank

Always use "Fast Park and Relax" across from the airport. Always plenty of room and when you enter they direct you to the aisle the van is picking up in. I believe it is $7.60/day. Open & staffed 24/7. 10 minutes to airport.

I always go first class. I go right up to the 8th floor in the parking garage and park right next to the elavator and i'm 3 minutes from the checkpoint! I use my sunpass for the charges. when I return I am on the road headed home while others are still waiting for a shuttle to take them for a ride.

I have used the Renaissance Orlando Airport Hotel several times always with a good result. Some hotels in the area allow you to park at the hotel if you stay the night before. If it is a short trip I park in the parking garage if longer then the blue lot.

The Renaissance option is cheaper than the Blue lot.

Have used same company, also at times a company that parks you at Marriott - Google cheap parking at Orlando Airport and they will pop up. Never have waited more than 20 minutes for shuttle, they run every 1/2 hour.
I guess I could park at airport and put on my Sunpass, but then I'd have to pay the Sunpass charge, which was extremely high last time I checked.

Tried the link above, and could not get reservations, not sure what is going on. It appeared that now you have to stay over the night before, maybe this changes with snowbird season?

Wallypark (https://www.groupon.com/deals/wallypark-airport-parking-national-20) has a Groupon for covered valet parking at MCO for $5.50 per day.

If you don't have a Groupon account, you can use this referral (https://www.groupon.com/visitor_referral/h/d944705e-2766-4c01-b461-51e1d9311db3).

WallyPark is good. I also use Signature Airport Parking, which is a tad less expensive even than WallyPark for valet parking. Both have 24/7 shuttles to your terminal.

I agree, keep it simple. I was just away from Thurs. thru Sun. and parking cost me $68 on my Sun Pass plus tolls which were minimal. The shuttle would have cost for my wife and I $160 plus tips. I like the concept of not relying on someone else to be on time to pick me up and I don't mind driving just an hour or so.
