Do a search for them and you will see plenty of negative posts.

If you are able to get a new company you will be better off. Service Smart is a total scam of a company. If you signed a yearly contract or paid in advance DEMAND your money back in person at their Ocala office...

Not to sound condescending, but you're a little late joining the party.

No problems with them so far. We had Stellar before them with no problems. I guess we are just lucky.

Mike, you are not just lucky, but you and Lou Gehrig are the luckiest guys on the face of the earth.

Has anyone sued them. It is almost an insult to have to pay another $137 to file a small claims suit and waste even more time on this. I guess they realize this too and they play the system. I wish I had seen all these posts before I got involved with them.

I don't understand why people don't get together and file a class action lawsuit. It's obvious that this company is not meeting its contractual requirements based on frequent posts. It seems to me that even the threat of an attorney regarding a class action would change their abhorrent behavior.
And apparently Seniors bs Crime has not been successful either. And they do a great job.

Thank you all for your comments.I might try going to their office.I hate to throw good money after bad, and waste a lot of time on this. I'm getting too old for this stuff.

I had same problem. Mine was due August, they were a no show and just came last week. I don't bother calling so probably my fault. I think that is the business model for some of these businesses. Grease the wheel that squeaks.

Where do I start???? They owe me money for a property that we sold. They refuse to pay which I consider a theft. They were tasked with removing seed pods from a queen palm and cut the heart out. Claimed there were none available in that size (found one in 10 minutes) to replace it. Had to fight with them to get it replaced. They did not firtalize as per the contract. They failed to provide a termite inspection and treatment certificate but claimed they treated. Big surprise..... They have a D- rating with the better business bureau.

All I can suggest is that you take your case to Seniors Vs Crime. They have three offices in The Villages and do not charge for their services. Even if they can't help you (and they are pretty good) it did not cost you anything but a little time. They are listed in the new The Villages Phone Book (2016 version) under Senior Services on pages 37 and 38.
