Coming down to TV for Jan. Feb. and March and was wondering if u need a Florida license to drive a golf cart. I am not referring to on the roads, but rather on the Golf cart access roads. My 17 year old grandkids will probably be coming down for a week and was also wondering what or if there is a minimum age limit for driving the carts. I know my wife and I would qualify agewise.

No driver's license required to operate a golf cart on designated paths/trails. Operator must be 14 years old to drive one, so, your grandkids are ok too.

Be sure they are aware of the traffic rules and laws because you can and will get ticketed in a golf cart if you break the law. Stop means just that and not 'slow down' . Like 07 said, be sure they are over 14 or there could be a fine in your future as well.

Tnx again for the info. They are both 17 and have licenses in New Jersey. If they break any laws while in TV it will not be because of ignorance of the law.
