I just went to one. I had to have a root canal redone that was originally done before I moved here 6 years ago. I ended up going to Orange Blossom Endodontics. Dr Maris Locher-Claus. She has equipment there that gives her the real story on your issue. One machine, a Cone Beam CT, gives her a 3D image of the problem. She also has a microscope that will magnify up to 20 times normal.
Most dentists only have equipment that magnifies up to 5 times normal. With all that she is able to zero in on the issue and go to work on it ASAP. I had went to another endodontist within the immediate area and was given a 50-50 chance on saving my tooth. Dr Claus checked on my situation and without hesitation went to work. I just walked out of her office today after a final check up. She saved the tooth and also saved me $2,000 that I would have had to pay for an implant if she wouldn't have been successful. Her staff is upbeat and fun to be around while remaining to be professionals in their field.. If you need to go to an endodontist just call them. You won't be sorry you chose them.
