We have decided on getting the engineered hardwood for our home. We aren't sure if we should also put it in the bedrooms or if we should leave the carpeting.

Which do you prefer? It's not unusual to have hardwood everywhere but the bedrooms. Lots of folks like the softness underfoot.

We have hardwood/laminate-everywhere--reduces the possibility of mold, mites, etc & the vacuum glides

If you have allergies, the best way to go is hardwood in bedrooms. Easy to keep clean. If you want you can put down runners on either side for a soft "landing" in the AM.

We have wood throughout except baths. Love it. Nice not to have the transitions.

We pulled all the "builder beige" carpet from our new home and replaced it with Shaw Epic engineered hardwood before we moved in.

I am a Shaw retiree very familiar with carpet, hardwood, laminate and tile flooring.

We only have carpet in our two guest rooms. The rest is hardwood and tile in the bathrooms, kitchen and foyer. Love the look and feel of hardwood.
