Help. My PC works great for everything that is NOT associated with Google. I can not uninstall the Google toolbar and I keep getting this pop up when I do a search or try to access any of my three email addresses? This happens whether I use IE, Opera or Firefox. Thanks, Bill

Can you back up to another device or online until the issue is resolved?

I figured it out. My PC reverted back to Jan. 1st 2007. By updating to the current date and time, it fixed the problem. Now all the certificates are up to date. Very strange occurrence.

That makes complete sense. If you look up the make and model of your computer it may have a motherboard battery. They are used to keep track of time and a couple of other things. The computer will work without it but you will be resetting the clock.

Yes, now I recall having this happen to one of my PCs a couple of years ago.
If you are running antivirus software, do a forced scan, as there are ways to reset the clock from software. Also, check you PC and see if the battery for the real time clock can be replaced. This battery typically also backs up several of the settings for accessing the hard drive, the power on password, and other settings. This could be symptom of a failing battery.
Hope this helps.

Thanks guys. I'll check out the battery voltage, and see if it needs replacement.
