Not one of Meryl Streep's better movies IMHO but you do get to see a lot of her real life daughter who plays her movie daughter.

Streep is not a bad singer. Her group Ricki and the Flash could easily play here in the Villages!

I agree. Jennifer Lawrence is getting very good though even if she has been doing a lot of action hero type movies which hardly show her acting abilities.

Meryl Streep often takes roles that really demand a great deal of work showing her great ability to become another person for a while.

My mother had a friend who knew Meryl Streep in her regular life in CT and said that she is very done-to-earth and not the least bit of a stuck-up Hollywood type.
