Much of what is written here is what many of us have been stating in one form or another.......

America in decline.

I disagree. If America is in such decline, why are so many people willing to risk their lives coming here to live?

The family farm may be in decline - but corporate farming is growing.

The mind altering drug section was a joke.

Skip the doom and gloom but try to put though changes to try and better situations.

The link is a very gloomy read, for sure, but I think a necessary read because it should be used as a warning.

To your point on drugs.....not too sure I agree with you...

This is an article from Business Insider back in August.......

New synthetic drugs - Business Insider (http://www.businessinsider.com/new-synthetic-drugs-2015-8)

It covers the many and new drugs being introduced and in a big hurry.

I believe the points made on MORAL DECLINE and a WEAK ECONOMIC SYSTEM need to be read and understood.

I do not see it AS GLOOMY as the writer, but I understand the thrust and we all should.

As far as your point on "Skip the doom and gloom but try to put though changes to try and better situations."

These changes are always being brought up and shot down by some group or groups. Our economy is flat....FLAT as a pancake and yet all we talk about is a level playing field, which IS important, but will make no difference if we do not address the basic problems.

We now have a few states that feel it is ok to have mind altering drugs legal and that move continues thus your point on drugs is lost on me.

The following from the link is right on the button.....

"During the objective hardship of the 1930s, there was surprisingly little crime. People were brought up with a conception of morals and right and wrong. Frugality and prudence were prized virtues. Communities were generally fairly cohesive.

Relative to then, society today is undisciplined, unrealistic and selfish."

It is a good article, while I am not a fan of the author and I do agree with you that we should seek answers first but that is becoming a thing of the past.

Yes ! Ignore the tremendous debt , the failure to even submit a budget let alone balance one .
Look past the how weak and pathetic we have become in the eyes of those who wish to see us unable to shape to shape and promote true democracy and freedom across the Globe .
Ignore the decline in our standard of living .
Look past the break-down of our Military .
Don`t at all be concerned with Unabated Single Party Rule .
Just keep staring at those Obama Phones and honoring and encouraging all of the single parent " Baby Mama Families ".
Just be good sheep and do as the Media , Hollywood and Left Leaders tell you to do . There now isn`t that better ....... of course it is .... because we say so .
You say that the education system has feminized your son and he can`t form a family and obtain a good job because despite all you have paid out for his education he is a " milquetoast " and not part of a "protected class " ?
Well see here Mr. and Mrs. you two better get with the program . The era of " White Male Privledge " is long over ! You two just don`t get it !
You two are THE PROBLEM .

Why so many coming here? You mean the ones that have no job, no house, no money, live is less than poverty and who immediately get an invrease in the lifestyle by crossing the border....no matter how low on the totem pole here they are ahead of where they came from. Add all the Obama freebies and illegal immigrant priorities and it is a good deal.

The family is not in decline. The permissive, morally corrupt, shoot em up up, rape em and drug em up society is affecting too many households.

No sense wasting the keystrokes any further than this!
