The Goal of Single Party Control :

One doesn`t have to spend much time reading the Posts on this forum to sense that the members / supports of at least one National Political Party would much prefer that only their Party exist .

Further , they seem to believe that in effect a long term " Ruling Class " of " Progressive Thinkers " ie the more " enlightened " among us should permanently control our local and national governmental entities .

Of course in several cities in the North this has indeed been the situation for many years if not decades .

I give you the following examples of how well single Party control works : Chicago , Detroit , Buffalo , Camden , Baltimore to name just a few .

Yet , despite the evidence that we are best served by the existence of at least two strong political parties they have been long determined to wipe out any opposition and by any means including subverting the Media and bending the entire Education System to their Will.

You're stating the obvious. The alarm has been sounded way too late. We are on the inevitable path to socialism and some even wish communism. I will continue to vote American and straight party conservative/Republican because there isn't a Democratic party anymore, even if they would have had a conservative in their haystack of liberal/socialists. If they insist on hosing up the country, then they will have to live with it. I'll sure that I will be gone before their doom ever reaches me enough to harm my lifestyle. I've been to socialist countries, even lived in them and these idiots deserve what they wish for. They think that their lazy a##es will have it made, but in reality, they will work harder for less. And they think that they will be reaping the benefits of the wealthy when they tax them down to middle class. In reality, the rich will move to countries that will allow them to keep their money and the lazy will not even reap the benefits that they currently enjoy because of the wealthy. These young liberals are so naive and stupid. They don't realize that socialism does not work, and once you move in that direction, there is no returning. They are so pathetic, lazy and lost.

If the silent majority would put down the remote and get off it's a$$ and get out and vote, nothing as outlined above would happen.

The few cities mentioned are perfect examples of the special interest, minority groups moving in to control that which the silent majority has given up on.

Until such time as the silent majority gets involved the deterioration of the country will continue. The silent will have been surpassed as the majority to a point where it has become too late to be able to recover.....becoming significantly out numbered. At that point there need not be any complaining.

So if you are a not me, or not in my back yard, let the others whoever they may be take care of it as I am not involved, or it does not affect me type....then enjoy the time you have left.....and start thinking about the fact(s) that point to today just might be the best it ever will be from here on in. So if you don't like what is going on now and still are not motivated, it is only going to get worse!!

And the silent majority will eventually get/inherit what it deserves. Pity the grandchildren and their descendents!!!!
