This is a really funny movie if you enjoyed Fargo and other Coen Brothers movie in a comical vein unlike their No Country for Old Men.

Hi Tal, Is that the name of the movie? "Burn after Reading"??? Is it playing in the square?? I loved Fargo, so I probably will like this movie too. Thanks,

What ever happened to the "Going to the Movies" group we were going to start?? Guess we were waiting for my arrival. Let's do it. All in favor, say "aye"!!

I cannot stand to listen to the news anymore. We are going to see this movie tonight. "Fargo" is one of my favorites. I hope this one hits me the same way. Thanks for the recommendation.

I am highjacking this post for just a sec!

Tal....my grandparent's best friend's son WROTE this book....I just heard this a couple of months ago....I haven't read it nor have I watched the movie....but his parents are buried next to my grandparents in DC....next to one other couple....the forever Bridge players....great sense's of humor and would have LOVED TV's!!!

I bet I could ask him to come to TV's for a book or DVD signing....whether you liked it or not....might be fun to meet him in person....

Cormac McCarthy's parents were (are even in death) my grandparents best friends....bridge partners....

I just finished reading Cormac McCarthy's book The Road and read No Country for Old Men (NCFOM) a few years ago. Both are excellent books with great writing, character development, dialog, etc. Entertainment Weekly named the The Road the best book of the past 25 years. I would not go that far but it is a very powerful book as is NCFOM.

I would bet alot of TOTVers and Villagers would like to meet Cormac McCarthy.

Well let me see what I can do....I will pull the grandparents card (lol bridge card) and
see what I come up with....

Perhaps I will have it be a TOTV EVENT!!

Update: Ok the call was made to his agent Amanda...but I may have to go through the back door with my family...to see if anyone still has contacts....we never know....actually I am hoping that he actually liked my grandparents! LOL....don't know why not...he likes smart people and they were extremly smart....sometimes I think I was adopted! Kidding!!
