My God this is AWESOME news! I can't tell you how long I have been saving up to buy a toaster. I mean I have been sticking a penny (sometimes two when it's a good week), into my piggy bank every single week for years now. That's .52 cents a year! (My family is proud of me, I'm the only one who can save like this) I have saved for ten years for a toaster and have accumulated $5.20! But with the Obama/Biden economic plan they are going to raise taxes on the rich and give me some money to buy my own toaster!!!
This is just awesome news. Anyone have any ideas (if this awesome gift actually comes my way that is) what I should buy with that $5.20 I have been saving for 10 years? Maybe a cup of coffee, some new flip flops?
When NBC's Meredith Vieira pointed out that "many economists" believe that tax increases for the wealthy would hurt the struggling economy, Biden replied, "I don't know any economists who are saying that."
"The Delaware lawmaker said the money from these taxes should be distributed among the middle-class, allowing people to "stay in their homes, to buy food, to take care of the gas, to fill up their tank, to be able to go out and buy a toaster."
