Well if Clinton is serious she is going to have to repeal Dodd Frank and the Consumer Financial Board it created

I'm not a Dem, but I am a liberal. I understood why the banks were bailed out but I certainly didn't like it. Same would apply today. I don't want to see a worldwide depression but I'm a firm believer that companies should sink or swim on their own merits. Welfare for banks, automobile companies, etc. is just not right. And, before you ask, yes I do believe in welfare for the uneducated, unskilled, unemployed or those earning poverty wages. However, I do believe it should be for a limited time and should include education and job training.

The problem with your logic is Republicans want to get rid of Dodd Frank. She isn't out there pushing this like Republicans with Obamacare. The problem with this comment is Republicans can push it through Congress, and force her to backup up her statement. Given her nature, she will do the Clinton two step, and say I wouldn't have bailed them out then, but given history it was the right thing to do. If anyone doesn't think that she would say anything to get elected, they haven't been looking.

The fact of the matter this is politics 101, say anything or do anything to get elected. You can have the best ideas in the world. If you don't get elected, what good are they? Then you run for reelection on your record. She has taken this course numerous times, and also every advanced course on the subject.

Why are you asking about Hillary's nature? You know all her answers are politically acceptable to the majority of voters, whether she believes them or not. Is there anyone out there campaigning for the presidency that wouldn't do the same thing? Take a good look at the immigration debate, haven't several of them danced away from a previous position? Morals are a bridge to far in or on your way to Washington.

You may be right, but do you know what the results would have been for those that had business with those banks? Kind of hard to explain how the gov didn't bail them out when they forced them to give loans to people that couldn't afford them. The gov should have left the banks alone to begin with. And that I can blame on congress and especially the Democrats. Hilary still won't answer in detail why her husband pushed this situation and now she is suddenly against it.
