If you are on the deed your resident card (green)is always good.
If you are not on deed you get a non resident card (blue)
And it's good for 3 years.

Landlords must temporarily hand in their cards in order
For their tenants' to receive cards.

NO, you are good. But it is like your virginity, once it's gone.........

Just kidding. I heard that all you have to do to get a new card is to give them your car and your grandchildren.

AND Happy first anniversary. SEE? I was right. This IS truly lower Paradise like PTurner always said.

Renters have to get new ID's every time they rent whether or not they are renting the same property. I addition the owner of the property has to put in paperwork @ Spanish Springs every time someone rents a property even if it's to someone they've rented to before!

Do you know what the process is for a friend to who moves in permanently but is not on the deed?

This is done at the district office. You should stop by any sales or closing office to get the necessary paperwork you'll need. This paperwork will explain what you need to bring with you to the district office so you can get an ID for this person not on the deed. By the way the district office is located above Johnny Rockets in Lake Sumter Landing
