It looks like this opened here in the Villages this week. If anyone has seen it, I would like a review.

Saw this film at LSL......great ensemble cast. Non-fiction is always better than fiction. Right? It is a riveting, sobering account for sure. The Vatican will hate it.

I seemed to have written 300 or more of the victim/witness assistance centers in MA back in April-May of 1992 trying to find out what they would like to see in law and public libraries to meet their information needs.
I have received a lot of help from people in MA with my 224 613 Project. One of these actions was the circulation of an e-mail I had sent to Brandeis University's student newspaper The Justice which they put up on 1/27/03 9:27:47 ET. They then republished it on May 31, 2011 22:05.
Thanks to these people at The Justice.
The e-mail stayed up for a few years on-and-off with my rather amusing misspelling of Philosophy.
I was e-mailing all kinds of people in addition to The Justice.
Unfortunately, the e-mail is not out there that I can find.

This Pope seems to be very different from the run-of-the-mill politician looking out for the interests of his small group. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pope_Francis
I am very impressed with this Pope Francis and his compassion for others and his unwillingness to follow the politics as usual you often see at the Vatican.

This is an example of film making at it's best. I was a reporter in the 70's in a small town and know the in's and out's of getting an interview. This movie represents how it was done then. I don't know about now. I'm not Catholic, but cannot ever envision a situation where it would be ok for children to be molested. I thought the ensemble cast did a great job, the script was sound, punchy and timely, and the acting superb. Heartily recommend "Spotlight" as a great slice of history from the '90s
