than what is occurring on Wall Street. Just look at FedEx, they are current in the "iffy" column mainly due to fuel price increases....gas....diesel...jet fuel....22% increase.
FedEx is only one example. Look at the price of groceries or anything else.
All these things have been having and continue to have a much greater impact on most people in the USA.
So why isn't there a clamor for fixing energy availability which affects us all daily. At least Wall Street either fixes itself with time or the big money folks come up with bail outs.
What do we get for energy solution....NOTHING! And nary a cry in the wilderness except harping about the Wall Street crisis and more harping about who is going to tax or not tax. Neither of which have the day to day, every day devastating effect that he OUT OF CONTROL energy costs are having.
I guess the media decides for us....it certainly isn't i a priority enough for them to pursue.
It certainly is not a priority for Congress to pursue.
And it is obviously not a priority for most of us because we continue to accept the down side pressure being brought upon us.....and raising holy :cus: to anybody to do something.
Are the masses only capable of parroting the media? If you didn't like the scare last week with all the stations being out of gas then y'all better wake up. And that happened when there was no real shortage in the supply line.
Wall Street VS Energy crisis....no comparison....the energy problem has significantly more potential to make unpleasant changes in our life style....and it won't repair as quickly as Wall Street.
The politicians are following our lead....we are not getting to them...because too many don't care.....they will eventually when it is too late.
