My wife and I have never golfed but living in golfers paradise I feel the time is right to begin. It's been suggested we start out with a beginners set of clubs because after a short time we'll want to graduate to a nicer set of clubs soon. Anyone have a suggestion where we get them? A second hand set would work just find for us I'm sure.
Thanks,
Deb and Don

I got my starter set with bag on overstock.com and I didn't upgrade until after 3 years. Then I upgraded to a high loft set. My starter set was $129 at the time with free shipping and no tax.

You can also look at the Custom Club Shop at Palmer. They have several sets at various prices and qualities. And you can try them for a time.
