I'd say Kansas City happened. This is a team that doesn't give up and takes advantage of even the tiniest mistake. Even though the series was over much too quickly, it was a wonderful series with great playing, good calls, few mistakes. I'm thrilled my Royals won but kudos to the Mets for playing well. Here's hoping for repeat next season.
