Hooray for LOWES

Bought a new Whirlpool Washer & Dryer from Lowe's. After a few loads of wash we realized the washer sounded like it was on it's last leg: terrible noise when filling, louder noise when washing and squealed like a pig when spinning. Called Whirlpool..they told me to "watch the video on line" to hear what it was supposed to sound like. NOT EVEN CLOSE !! so I called Whirlpool back to send out a repair guy, which they did . But they also told me if there was nothing wrong I'd have to pay the $89 service call. Guess what...NOTHING WRONG !!! Went back to LOWE'S ..said no problem..we'll take it back..GO pick out another washer & dryer to match. SO EASY... You got my business LOWE'S !!!!!!!!!!!

In my past life I worked with Lowes on logistical matters. SO much easier to work with than some of the other big box stores.

A friend had the same experience with Lowe's in the Hilton Head, SC area. They had a refrigerator taken back and replaced by Lowe's for unexplained noises, no questions asked.

The rest of the story: They were in the same store a week later, saw the same model refrigerator, opened it and found a jar of cherries they had mistakenly left in their refrigerator when it was taken it back.
